When West Virginia Junior College (WVJC) sought to enhance training for their Medical Assisting students, they turned to simulation-based learning. The goal was to give students hands-on practice with real-world scenarios before entering clinical settings and interacting with patients.
Impact: The program saw increased student confidence and engagement, improved skill retention, and more efficient faculty instruction. In fact instruction became so efficient that WVJC was able to expand their program into two new states.
